October is Women’s Health Month

 

Join us at our Monthly Meeting on Wednesday, October 27th in Village Hall at 7:30pm sharp!  We will be celebrating Women’s Health Month and Julie Perillo, Programs Chair has arranged for a massage therapist to present on the topic of massage as a tool for health and stress management.  Why don’t you join us and be one of five lucky members to receive a free massage at our meeting!  Wear comfortable clothes

HALLOWEEN HOOPLA!

 The JWCB is holding its 3rd Annual “Halloween Parade & Pizza Party” on Halloween, Sunday, October 31st!  We hope the trick-or-treaters, flashlights in hand; will join us – please meet at the corner of Huron Rd/Massachusetts Blvd at 4:30PM.   The Bellerose Village Recreation Committee  also invites you to the “Haunted Fire House” after the parade!  Pizza Party: $7.00 per family donation at the door – reservation requested/adult supervision required.  Please donate a bottle of soda at our monthly meeting. Contact Meg Johnson  or Rosaleen Shea for reservations.

Trick-or-Treat for UNICEF

UNICEF orange boxes will be available at our October meeting. 

A little goes a long way!

3 cents buys 1 child Vitamin A for 1 yr

5 cents can pay for 1 water purification tablet

$1 can protect a child for life from polio

$2.46 buys school supplies for 1 child for 1 yr

UNICEF boxes can be returned to Jo Ellen Cortapasso, 33 Ontario Rd. or bring them to Ladies Night, November 18th.
